Granite sinks are not easily scratched, dented and stained. They are also highly resistant to heat. You can also use them outdoors because of their impermeability to water and liquids. And they are very easy to clean and maintain.

But you have to be prepared to shell out a bigger amount of money compared to other types of kitchen sinks. That’s no problem if you have sufficient funds. But they are quite heavy so they will need ample weight support. You also need to have a professional to do the installation. You can do it if you have the know-how and the tools. Otherwise it is better to let the professional do the job. A professional should be able to do a superb job and that should really show up when the sink is fitted. It’s is often the small details that are the difference between a good finish and a great finish.
